Case# 16-1902

Location: 210 N 6th Street

Arrested: Andrew B. Medolla (M-21) 543 Park Drive Vineland NJ

Arrest dispo: Released ROR

Medolla was charged with entering two food service trucks parked on North 6th Street. One of the trucks was ransacked. Medolla was found in the driver’s seat of the other truck. This truck had been started and had been backed into the house (twice) when the driver attempted to back out of the driveway with it. Medolla resisted arrest by not complying with officer’s commands. He later spit at Officer Marchesano while being processed at the police station.

Arrested: Omar Lopez (M-26) 535 Harvard Street Vineland NJ

Arrest dispo: Released on summons

Officers were sent to investigate a disorderly person at the N. Delsea Drive McDonalds. Lopez was found nearby. He was uncooperative and moved aggressively towards Officer Marchesano. He struck Officer Marchasano while being arrested. Lopez was processed and released on a summons.

Incident Date/Time: January 6, 2016/ 1542hrs

Incident Type:  Burglary / Theft  

Charge:  2C:18-2A (1) / 2C:20-3A 

Officer:  Cifuentes #1681 

Victim: Vineland Packaging 3602 North Mill Road, Vineland    

Arrested: Thomas J. Capece (M-35) 4304 Marlyn Avenue, Vineland

Arrest dispo: Held on bail 

Capece was charged with entering Vineland Packaging and taking money from a vending machine in the break room. He was also charged with having a universal key (burglar tool) which is used to open the vending machines. An employee of Vineland Packaging had seen Capece removing the money from the vending machine. Capece was then detained by employees until police arrived. Capece was held on $50,000.00/10% bail for the burglary and theft charges. He also had outstanding warrants for his arrest from Egg Harbor Township ($991.50 bail) and Hamilton Township  ($1290.00 bail.)

Unknown actor(s) entered the vacant home and took copper pipe. It is not known exactly when the incident occurred.
